Two wheelers do a good balancing act but this is usually done when both wheels are aligned vertically one in front of the other. Things have to change though, in the name of beauty or practicality, and Segway brings you a two wheeler that does a fine balancing job in a unique way.

General Motors and Segway recently teamed up to create a revolution in the designing of vehicles on the road today. The Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility (P.U.M.A.) project gives you a two seater vehicle with a difference. The electric two wheeler vehicle is designed to be self balancing. Taking after the Segway Personal Transporter in design, this vehicle will have the side by side wheel arrangement. Powered by a lithium ion battery, it can go 35 miles on a single charge and hit speeds of 35mph. The vehicle will also have a special communicating system that will allow it to interact with other vehicles on the road and may reduce traffic accidents.

The P.U.M.A. project makes its debut this week at the New York Auto Show. You never need to worry about parking space if this vehicle hits production!
