One of the biggest online advertising network, Google Adwords, in the year 2010 has successfully completed ten years of remarkable work, by providing a platform to advertisers across the globe to publish information about their products and services all over the web and expand their business opportunities. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Google Inc. has now come out with a short personalized ‘Thank You’ film for advertisers, where in the search behemoth has expressed its gratitude to the advertisers for their continued trust and support for Google AdWords. This film is the culmination of intense creativity from Google, in collaboration with interactive marketing specialist, AKQA.
This token of appreciation from Google has been directed by PostPanic director Mischa Rozema, who took the project to the London-based digital specialists Rehab, that were the tasked with customization of the movie for each of AdWord’s advertisers. The short film showcases Susan Wojcicki, senior vice president for Google Adwords carrying out fictional experiments by Google research department and the names of each advertisers are inserted into the film, thereby expressing its gratitude to the thousands of Google AdWord’s advertisers. The film was directed in its entirety by Mischa Rozema and then the movie was handed over to Rehab, for the customization process. The ‘Thank You’ movie has been shot on several location including Google Headquarters, San Jose Airport and surrounding countryside and was completed in just two days.
