Google AdWords Launches Search Funnels To Let Advertisers Track Conversion Statistics

To make it much easier for the advertisers to keep a track of all the search terms of their keywords, that led to conversions, the search giant, Google has now introduced an all new feature to the Google AdWords. This feature called, AdWords Search Funnels allows the advertisers to see all the keywords matching theirs, that led to conversions, instead of the one just before a sale. So far, only limited accounts have been provided with this feature, but a complete roll out of the AdWords Search Funnels is expected to be completed in the next few weeks.

The creation of the new Funnels system is kept in accordance with Google’s privacy policy. The search funnels are registered only when a user clicks on an advertisement delivered by Google.When the user clicks on the advertisement, Google automatically records the click and links it to the advertiser for the 30 days. During this period, when the users conduct searches using similar keywords, regardless of whether the advertisement has been clicked or not, Google will ensure that, the advertiser’s ads are shown for the searched keywords.

Keeping the process in a repeat loop, if and when the user finally clicks on the same advertisement and makes sale, then only a funnel report is created. Also, the AdWords Search Funnel reports are generate only if the advertisers is using the Google AdWords conversion tracking code.
