
Google’s widely popular internet browser, Google Chrome has been updated and a new version called, Google Chrome 4.0 is now out for the Microsoft Windows platform. The all new Chrome 4.0 has been released in the BETA capacity and boasts of enhanced features and a better browsing experience.
One of the most important features inculcated in the Chrome 4.0 is the bookmark synchronization, that was initially released in the month of August this year, for Chrome’s developer preview version. The bookmark sync feature in Google Chrome 4.0 will enable the users to synchronize their bookmarks to their Google accounts and can use the same bookmarks on a different computer, using the Bookmark Sync feature.
The ability to run extensions in Google Chrome was missing in the earlier versions and that caused a great deal of aversion from users. However, for Google Chrome 4.0, the use of extensions has been made a reality and it is expected that this new feature will bolster user confidence in Chrome. Although, the extension feature is absent from Chrome 4.0 Beta, yet the final version is known to be extension capable.
For those who prefer to use Apple MAC, ans have been waiting for Google Chrome to be released in their OS, have to wait a while longer, as Google still working on a MAC version of Chrome. According to Mike Pinkerton (Chrome Prog. Manager, Google),
“Our goal for this Friday is to be able to count our Mac P1 M4 release blocker bugs on one hand (we’re in the 20s now Everyone should have their P1 list practically at zero by the end of this week. If you are not going to be able to reach this, let me (or other triage folk) know ASAP so that we can get you some help.”
