In a quest to attain the Salvation of minimalism, Google has gone to the extreme step of removing all signs of text from the homepage and has reduced it to the bare minimum of just the log.

While we all know how touchy the company is about their minimalism and “look”, this indeed is a surprise as one can’t actually make sense of a completely minimalistic site thrown at our faces. Actually, there would be text but it is just hidden until you move your mouse. Google is testing all these new looks and nothing could be permanent.

It may not even be visible from your computer as only a few people are getting to see the updated buttons or the lack of them. Just know that Google look might change, and also know that it may not change after all, and that they are just testing new looks and designs for their homepage. As for me, I really do not care as long as the search results appear fast and in an efficient manner. What do you guys say?
