The ever increasing popularity of Google Android operating system has convinced Google to tinker with the system and keep introducing new feature to its, so that the Android remains robust and attracts more and more users. Now, Google has introduced yet another feature in the Android system, with which the users will now be able to draw letters on the touch screens of their Android powered mobile devices, and these sketches will then help them in conducting searches for content in the devices.
This all new feature called, Gesture Search is currently in the Labs category and as per Google, the feature is highly accurate, so much so, that, it is able to distinguish between two closely grouped letters, and brigns up the search results, as per the glyphs. Furthermore, the users will not only be able to sift through their contacts, but will also be able to search through the content in apps, bookmarks and music stored on the device all by scribbling a few letters on the screen of their phones.
However, the down side of Gesture Search is that, it will only be applicable for device running Google Android 2.0+ devices and all their predecessors will be devoid of this feature. But, if you have Android 2.0+ device, then you make use of this immensely useful application and download it from the Android Market. As per reports, this nifty application is currently available in both the U.S and the U.K.
