Google released a new tool for users of Gmail and Google Buzz. From now you can get a preview of maps within the e-mail and social networking.
According to the site Mashable, to enable the feature in Gmail just visit the Labs tab within the Settings and select the option “Enable Preview on Google Maps.” Thereafter, all links to maps pasted in the body of the email will be available in advance.
In the Google Buzz, Google Maps link pasted in the box will be posting images generated automatically.
The maps are interactive and all links generated by Google Maps works, but only addresses the United States are currently available. Google says in his blog that is already working to provide international addresses but has not announced a date for it.
The Buzz Google GMail integrates the functionality of a social network like Facebook, and the exchange of messages such as on Twitter. Buzz is trying to be a service that will go beyond a simple system for exchanging messages, public or private, and who knows can conceal the disappointment that Google was the Google Wave.
