Recently, Google has been in news due to their huge user database and how they might be using the information. The answer to this question is quite simple and it is used to generate more money through targeted advertisements which Google is so famously known for., By creating an eco system that is almost indispensable now, Google has managed to strengthen its grasp over the Internet.

Internet or Cyberspace is no longer that, but has almost become Google Space. Unfortunately, those who realize this dictatorial PR campaign are usually the ones that are branded as propaganda seekers. Google may not explicitly advertise anywhere but the fact that Google is everywhere you go is a proof that the company depends heavily on advertising for money.

A fraction of this huge Google Pie is given to web publishers who depend on AdSense for money. With alternate ad services popping up, there is a hint of dissent among the denizens of Cyberspace. It would be interesting to wait and watch how the Google PR campaign will continue to enmesh the Cyberspace in a silent but vile way.
