The all new Google Chrome 6 (6.0.472.33) has been given a new look for the user interface (UI) and new features along with considerable improvements in some of retained features from its predecessor. These changes include a revamped UI, synchronization improvements and a speedier V8 JavaScript engine. One of the most useful feature incorporated in Chrome 6 is the new Autofill, that would make it a breeze for users to fill online forms, as the autofill will automatically do it for them. However, to ease the concerns of privacy, Google has stated that. The autofill will require authorization from the users before filling any forms. The autofill will be able to fill in various details including credit card data and other information stored by the users, after getting permission from the user.
According to Google.
“Our new beta release continues to be faster than before. Compared to our previous beta release, our newest beta hits a 15% speed improvement on the V8 benchmark, and a 15% improvement on the SunSpider benchmark, both of which measure JavaScript performance. Additionally, we’ve improved by 64% on Mozilla’s Dromeao DOM Core Tests.”
