Back in the month of March this year, Google had introduced an innovative service called, Google Voice, that enables users to have absolute control over their communications. The service offered transcripts of voice mails, SMS text messages via e-mail, low cost international calls and many other features. Google Voice has so far been very well received in the United States and the users base for the service is steadily increasing.
Now, Google has announced yet another feature in the Google Voice application called, ‘Invite a Friend’. Although this invitation feature is available in almost every Google application, yet somehow, Google Voice lacked this facility and by far it has been the most sought after feature in Google Voice. With the help of ‘Invite a Friend’, users can send Google Voice invitations to friends and family members, as the application is accessible by invitation only. Although the feature has been enabled, yet it will take some weeks before it shows up in the Google Voice account profiles.
Also, the free invitations per user has been limited to only three. Hence, we have to really scrutinize as to whom to the send the invites.
