Google revealed it has reached an agreement with Twitter to include short message service microblog in its search results hours after Microsoft have revealed similar information involving your search engine Bing.

Unlike Microsoft, which announced the agreement along with a special session of Bing where search technology is used to navigate through Twitter messages, Google has not disclosed how it will integrate the content into its search, saying only that the news will be developed the coming months.

The executive says that the integration will help users to do searches involving real-time events, “like snow in the forecast for your favorite ski hotel” to find “the latest information and quality.”

The integration of the Twitter feed with Bing will be restricted only to the United States, according to announcement made by head of online services from Microsoft, Qi Lu, at the Web 2.0 Summit, held in San Francisco between 20 and 22 October.

Google does not reveal whether the integration of Twitter with your search results will be initially limited to users in the United States. However, it would not be strange if Google surpass Microsoft with this one too, after all, innovation, collaboration and freedom of choice are more and more the main Google characteristic.
