If you thought power centres were at the centre of being the culprits and encouraged energy wastage, think again. The Gwanggyo Power Centre in the heart of Korea, about 20 miles from Seoul is designed in the greenest way possible. However, it is not a power centre in its true sense but is a green township. The power centre will consist of housing, offices, retail, leisure, and even educational spaces.

The Power Centre is clean, green, and very environmentally friendly. It would have plants growing all around and the irrigation will be taken care of the water used by the inhabitants. It dramatically reduces the consumption of water and electricity and increases sustainability and environmental friendliness.

The building is constructed in a cone like and ring like manner, which allows for the easy passage and mimics the lakes around the township. Seoul is an over crowded and heavily populated city, which definitely needs a township like this. In fact, if every large city encourages green townships like this, we would see a greener and cleaner environment.

Wow, this would be great if made real. Science fiction = reality! They may grow these places everywhere!
