Welcoming a newborn can be a happy yet stressful even for first time parents. The sudden responsibility of caring for a child so completely dependent upon you can have most parents pulling their hair out with anxiety. A lot of preparations are made for a baby’s arrival and architect Manuel Villa has an interesting piece of work.
Manuel has designed a mini-house that can be set up within the garden of the expecting parents. Titled the Habitable Polyhedron, the prefabricated house is designed as a stimulating environment for any child to grow in. Essentially a home within the secure boundary of a home, the Habitable Polyhedron will be a place of respite not just for the child but the parents as well. Though the polyhedron doesn’t look as great from outside, the style and decor inside the mini-house is beautiful and comfortable.
The Habitable Polyhedron is fitted with sofa and rick-racks for personal objects and the face which opens up like a sun deck would be a welcoming space for tea-parties and board games as the child grows. With the Habitable Polyhedron in your garden, you need not attempt to make a treehouse for your child.
