If the HDTVs from brand like Mitsubishi’s LaserVue are too pricey for your pockets to bear, then you might as well wait for HDI’s team to become a reality to really shock you out of your wits. This Californian company aspires of creating a 100-inch 3D HDTV that is driven by lasers, which by the way will cost you more than an arm and leg.
The television set is already quite a hit by The Woz. In fact, the first batch of this electronic is already being manufactured in China and hopes to up in the market by May. If the pilot sale goes well, then we hear that the HDTV in reference will soon go into full scale production by Christmas next year.
HDI’s 100-inch 3D HDTV will be 10-inches thick and will go easy on power consumption. That said, the price tag ranging between $10,000 and $15,000 will be one not afforded by most. However, it’s still a smaller price tag when compared to Panasonic’s 103-inch 3D HDTV that comes for $75,000. Boy oh boy, are these the times of a global economic recession!
