Oregon Scientific also followed the same cult. It has come up +ECO Clima Control, thereby harnessing solar energy for common-day consumer electronics. Its the company’s first such product and it has managed to offer a plethora of features.

It can provide weather and temperature update in up to four locations within the home and outdoors. A built-in solar panel helps intercept the solar energy. You don’t have to keep a track of what time you got to take your gadget for a sun-bath, it itself generates weather predictions on the same. Weather forecasts are laced with relevant graphical icons like Sunny, Partly Cloudy, Cloudy, Rainy and Snowy.

The makers claim that it can predict he next 12 to 24 hours of weather within a 30-50 km (19-31 mile) radius with 75% accuracy, which is impressive. In case the users are hell-bent about knowing the time down to the nearest millisecond, its well-equipped to submit to such demands by showing the precise atomic time, by synchronizing automatically with a clock signal.Other features include Radio-controlled clock,  calendar and LED backlight.  It can be bought for almost $120.
