We all love to het our favorite party or hang out with our buddies after a long week of grueling work and boss’s rants. What better way to melt away a week’s worries than to relax, have fun with good music and better company. Hiving Hub designed by John Fenno is a delightful little new concept which integrates LED technology with some smart tagging to create a visual delight that encompasses your party with glowing new hue. Hiving Hub contains smart and interactive bands or even cups that can light up red, yellow or blue and when they not only offer color to a dull evening but also plenty of purpose.

The colors each represent a unique function that is otherwise a bit difficult to handle in the case of a loud and wild party. If the wrist bands go red then it indicates to everyone at the gathering that it is time for silence- maybe because someone has got their glass up for a toast. The yellow light indicates a change in pattern or mood which can be subsequently announced by the host. The blue light though has a very special function as it only glows when two or more people are within a two meter radius block. This can grow with more number of people interacting in the area.

Hiving Hub adds a colorful new twist to parties, though the whole blue light concept can be a bit annoying when you are trying to spend time alone with someone in a corner and everyone gets to know that with the blue hue… You know what I Mean!
