eMeter has unveiled the much needed Home Energy Platform. The company is known to be one of the world’s best meter management software maker. Energy Engage Platform is a website that links your energy usage to a website and makes it available on the net so that you are aware of how much energy you are actually using.

Many companies have already stated similar projects but this seems to be better than the others. This I say because of the user-friendliness, accessibility and the interface. If you have a clear idea about how much and where you are using your power and energy, you would also be able to save power and energy in a better fashion.

The platform would come with a licensing fee. I would say this is a great method to make sure you know where all that power is going. It perhaps could even be the fan that keeps spinning even when you don’t need it!
