In the age of the internet, media leaks and spy shots, the automobile industry does not really get much of a chance to pull off major surprises when it comes to car unveilings on grand stages. The art of concealment becomes all the more difficult when you are a really big player in the auto world as there are many eyes pushing and prodding for the latest. Yet, Honda have proven over this weekend that it is still not an impossible art and that they are the masters at pulling off such uncanny surprises and catching the world off guard.

After showing the year old CR-Z concept and the Insight hybrid concept that debuted at the Paris show, product planning manager of Honda, Dan Bonawitz, unveiled a brand new concept car to stun everyone present there. The Honda FC Sport Concept us one of the best kept secrets at any auto show in the recent past. The car that was unveiled really looked fit for the stage and justified the effort with V-Flow fuel cell stack and electric drivetrain from the FCX Clarity. The FC Sport is a three-seat sports car was displayed to show the potential of hydrogen fuel cells.

The car for now is very much a concept which probably will undergo some tweaking and a few changes before becoming a reality. Honda did not have anything to say in regards to when, if ever, it would hit the road. But with Honda, you can bet that the road version would come out sooner than later.
