The future doesn’t arrive soon enough for any of us and the recent new and photos of the hotel room of the future showed off the reasons why all of us are so impatient to get there. Giving competition to the style and decor of the Pullman Paris Bercy hotel room of the future is the home of the future.

Sponsored by Samsung, the House of the Future was a major feature at the Grand Designs LIVE and was popular enough to win the best design there. The display included gadgets and appliances that people may be using in the future as far as 20 years away, and was shown off in a futuristic enough style. Apart from taking everything to the automatic level, the House of the Future also featured quite many pods (MetroNaps EnergyPod, Ovei Pod, Globus workstation, Napshell). No house, even in the future, could be complete without an awesome TV which is why the house also has a Samsung LED TV. Other cool things in the House of the Future are a SmartTable from Gorenje, WoWee Joebot, Sonic Chair, Sook kitchen assistant and so much more.

An interesting addition to the House of the Future is the Health Check Mirror. Although there is no information on how exactly the mirror works, I’m guessing it is the type of wonder mirror that would tell you how healthy and in-shape you are the moment you step in front of it.
