Chronosystem is the final stage in which changes that takes place either in the individual or the environment influence one another. Cognitive and biological changes that occur during puberty can affect the child’s development and the chronological age of the child also decisively affects a child’s development.
Younger children feel guiltier than adolescents when their parents divorce. Bronfenbrenner’s analysis is detailed and reveals how children, parents, society, culture etc influence each other and finally affects the development of the child. An example would be that of a mother who has a difficult time coping with her temperamentally affected child.
At the microsystem, the father may help her raise the child by showing more affection and love and at a mesosystem, the school or relatives may intervene. At the exosystem, the community may have special parenting classes. And at the macrosystem, if parents are given leave for raising their children, it could help the development of the child. Thus understanding these concepts would help your child be healthy and cheerful!
