One look at this robo and you’d be like ‘isn’t she pretty’! Named HRP-4C, this humanoid is generating rave reviews for her preparation to walk the ramp for a fashion show in Japan. Looking like a 16 year old this one has some 30 motors inside her body that let her walk and move her arms while the 8 motors in her face generate human like expressions of anger and surprise among many others.

HRP-4C’s light weight fits her in the size 0 body type but her makers are a bit doubtful of her ramp debut despite the extremely high technical advancement in this robot. Then again, her walk isn’t ready for the Paris collection yet as she has to keep her knees bent most of the time to keep her balance. Her feet have advanced sensors but lack the sensitive balance of a real human.

Standing 5ft2″ tall, HRP-4C was created to look like an average Japanese woman. The developers say that the big challenge facing them is to develop the small feminine parts. Wearing a silver and black space suit, HRP-4C marks a new benchmark in robotics but she still has a long way to go.
