IMF: Borrow then Spend (then Borrow Again then Spend Again)

The International Monetary Fund, the key lender and financial institution in the globalization movement wants us to spend in order to grow. It has stated that “2009 as really being a bad year.” Already cutting its forecast for global growth, it has further stressed that future projections will even be bleaker. Does this institution realize that it is precisely the greed, propelled by unbridled spending, that is causing this planet to plummet?

As an enticer of debt by making funds readily available for credit, the IMF has caused many poor countries to be locked in debt. These poor countries that can only wish to be debt-free sometime in the far off future have no choice but constantly borrow because they cannot swim in the huge sea of globalization and trade liberalization without the proper infrastructure for which they need funds to establish. We all know by now, of course, that globalization is a global plan carried out by countries with hegemonic designs so as to control the planet.

The ‘lender of last resort’ is also known to support military dictatorships probably because money and financing do not know political color. Actually, these military dictatorships have been the ones friendly to American and European business and political interests. It has freely given financial support to brutal dictators. The trend is all too familiar. The IMF gives credit loans to a poor country whose government is expectedly corrupt. The corrupt head of government and his cohorts corner the funds, leaving the country’s population in even deeper poverty due to debt servicing and worse social services. The IMF loan has only become a symbol of institutionalized oppression.
