In the past, a n accident meant that one would walk away from the scene of blood and mishap with a severed limb and no chances of ever enjoying life like one used to. That isn’t the scene anymore; and yet, it isn’t as cool as having one’s real limbs.
Or so we thought. We all know that having a prosthetic limb means we can be something of a cyborg that can survive and work efficiently like anyone else, and yet, many people shy away from intimacy the moment they spy a prosthetic limb. This can leave you in a quite embarrassing and hurtful situation. Immaculate is a prosthetic limb designed by Hans Alexander Huseklepp, that stops pretending to be a real limb and takes pride in being prosthetic. It stops people from attempting pretence and finally leading to someone’s disillusion when they touch the prosthetic and realise that it is not real; this limb takes all pride in being unreal.
It may be a concept, but Hans idea is definitely something that I can appreciate. If I lost a limb, I wouldn’t want to fool others into believing they are holding my real hand when they are reaching for a prosthetic; and yet, this may not be popular with the masses that want to hold on to yesterdays.
