The prestigious Forbes will launch the Indian edition after partnering with Network 18. Forbes India will be the first business publication or Indian edition of foreign news. Forbes India is to highlight the business issues through the Indian prism.

There is a vast population of readers in India that are yet to be tapped. Making the best use of this business opportunity, Forbes has teamed up with India’s most influential media group, Network 18. The magazine is to be published in a biweekly basis and already a total estimate of 75, 000 copies to be printed in the initial stage. Indian journalism and the flair of its writers will definitely be a highlight of this publication.

Although, in these times of recession with businesses reporting huge quarterly losses, its rather an irony to launch a business magazine. However, the publication will make the most of the situation. The inaugural issue will feature the world’s fourth richest man and the steel tycoon, Lakshmi Mittal and his take on the recession.
