The Mumbai terror attacks that took place last November killed166 people and the Indian residents have lived under constant fear of the possible terror attacks. Home Minister P Chidambaram said that India has already furnished Pakistan with enough evidence regarding the Mumbai attacks.

Pakistan has more than the required evidence to prosecute Pakistan based militants who had been the main accused behind the Mumbai terror blasts. Chidambaram asserted that as a Home Minister of India and as a lawyer he is aware that Pakistan can prosecute the guilty. India has earlier provided Pakistan with the dossier containing evidence, and then another document answering 20 question and lastly, providing some clarification that Pakistan had sought.

The latest information provided by India also shows evidence of the Pakistan based militants to have received some help from the Pakistani officials. However, the Pakistan government has denied this accusation. Pakistan has lodged a police complaint against the main accused and also detained some Islamic leaders who may be involved in the Mumbai attacks. India and Pakistan has already exchanged hot words since November 2008 regarding this issue.
