15 Intel May Use Laminar Air Flow To Cool Ultra Thin Laptops

Expecting ultra thin laptops to be launched in 2009, Intel has unveiled a new cooling technology to keep these sleek laptops at a constant temperature to optimize performance and maintain efficient functioning. This cooling technology derives inspiration from temperature control used in jets and their engines. Laminar airflow cooling can be used to cool laptops too so that laptops can be made thinner. The biggest hurdle in making thin laptops possible is because of the heat it generates.

Laptops can become oppressively hot if the heating technology isn’t efficient enough. The laminar airflow could be exploited and employed in laptops to produce a sort of cooling that would otherwise be not possible. Quad core laptops for example may become a thing of everyday usage if the cooling technology kicks off.

Intel expects laptops with laminar flow to be launched in 2009. Perhaps, one never has to worry about carrying a thin and sleek laptop but end up with burnt thighs. I’m sure this technology will have a lot of takers when its employed and thin laptops and small sized ones with a lot of features is what everyone wants.
