
As technology advances, so has our way of looking at televisions. No more do we sit in front of the TV just to watch our favorite shows, movies and new channels. Current generation users are now using their high definition television to not only watch television shows, but to also hook up their computer systems with their TVs and browse the web in the comfort of their couch. However, one of the most frustrating obstacle during Internet surfing on televisions is the size of the web browsers installed on PCs and laptops. As these browsers are designed to be optimal with computers, when displayed on large screen TVs, it becomes a real hassle for the users to navigate the web, due to small icons, menus and toolbars.
However, now all that is soon going to be a worry of the past as, Hillcrest Labs have have now announced the launch of an all new web browser called Kylo. This nifty browsers was initially introduced a while ago in beta mode and since then, it seems to have grown into a mainstream product. The Kylo, which is a free web browser for televisions will enable the users to conduct their online activities without having to squint their eyes or go dangerously close to their television sets, as this new browser features large icons a large on-screen keyboard. The Kylo web browser is compatible with both Microsoft Windows and Apple Mac operating systems.
Another really interesting product to have be introduced from Hillcrest Labs is a remote control called, Loop. This one of a kind device acts as a mouse for the Kylo browser and can be controlled by moving it in the air, which it the interprets as motion and the direction in which the users wishes to point it. Furthermore, the Loop also consists of a scrolling wheel and two large button, that serve as the right and left mouse buttons, along with two smaller buttons as well. The Loop is available with a price tag of $99 and is compatible with both Windows and Mac OS.
