Apple iPhone 3.0 will witness a slew of new features adding up to more than 100. This is the third major revision in the iPhone’s basic operating system. Some of the features are:
• The cut, copy and paste option will available
• “Push notification” for major events, news or sports results.
• MMS application with the facility to send pictures and voice memos in instant messages.
• Key words search for mails, calendars and other applications.
• Calendar functions are upgraded.
• Bluetooth for wireless earphones
• Audio/video tags
• Live streaming facility
• iTunes account creation
• Auto fills
• Shuffling at a shake
• Wi-Fi auto login
• Call logs
• Parental control application
• Peer to peer connectivity
These are some of the main end user features, which won’t be available until this summer. The existing iPhone users can avail it for free, and for the iPod touch it will cost $ 9.95.
The customers want for the support of Adobe Flash was not answered though. However, senior VP Scott Forstall suggested that there were other ways to send videos to mobile devices. The trading on the Wall Street for Apple closed at $99.66, up by 4.4%. The Apple share has leaped $16.55 a share in just last two weeks
