Iran has announced that it has no plans of quitting its nuclear program. In fact, a new nuclear achievement will launch on April. Iran marks its National Day of Nuclear Technology every April 8. Over the next five years, likewise, 50,000 centrifuges for uranium enrichment plants will be built. Currently, the country has 6,000 centrifuges located in Natanz, and efforts are underway to install more.
In Bucher, Iran is building its first nuclear power plant with the help of Russia. In fact, it recently tested it successfully. The country insists that its nuclear plan is not based on any political conditions. The UN nuclear agency recently reported that the expansion would have slowed despite the Iranian nuclear fuel that had been accumulated. To this, Iran responds, “We have not changed our plans for Natanz. Nor have we slowed or accelerated our activities there.”
The Natanz nuclear enrichment facility for uranium enrichment is located 350 km south of Tehran. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said his country has defied the West which fears Tehran is trying to build nuclear bombs. All efforts to thwart Iran’s nuclear ambition are now, thus, rendered futile.
