Google for long has been known as the best company to be working at. In short, if you are associated with Internet, Web 2.0, advertising, even research, and are looking for employment at a company, then it has to be google. If you are not working at Google, there must be something wrong with the way you function. Well, that is what people say but the reality is always different isn’t it?

A look at the reasons provided by Google employees who are on the verge of quitting or ex-Google employees have stated reasons which are virtually the Google gasbag. Most people cite low pay, weird recruitment procedures, and unfriendly exit interviews as being the reasons. Moreover, the attitude of ‘Google employees don’t work for money, but for the betterment of the world’ has left the company’s employees bitter and angered.

Though such issues are common to any big company in the world, the fact that Google could have disappointed its employees suggests that the company may not be thinking put of the box as it always claims. It may still be limited to thinking around and within the search engine that has made Google the company it is today.
