The world number one golfer has been sidelined by injury since the last U.S Open in June. Although after his phenomenal win with an additional 19 holes, it gave him a torn knee ligament and two stress factures.
In WCG-Accenture Match Play Championship, Tiger Woods is all set to defend his title in Arizona this week. The champion still had his share of uncertainty even after the astonishing win in the U.S Open. The 14- time champion projects his uncertainty when he told the reporters that its one thing to play at a practice environment at home and quite another to deal it in a PGA Tour event.
33 year old American champion said that he was rather curious and was looking forward to feel that adrenaline rush while competing and playing once again. Woods hopes to quickly get used to the flow of the round. Matchplay is found to be more unpredictable than the strokeplay. However, the world champion definitely has a competitive advantage over his opponents. Woods has won the prestigious title three times already, so its worth making plans to watch some golf on TV next Sunday!
