The British reality star, Jade Goodie, 27 dies in her sleep after a prolonged suffering from cervical cancer. Jade Goodie died in her sleep on early Sunday morning at her Essex home in England. She has left behind her mother, her husband Tweed, and two sons aged 5 and 4 from her previous marriage to TV host Jack Brazier.

Jade Goodie’s life was public right from the start in her career till the day she breathed her last breath. She was earlier mocked for racial comments against her co star Shilpa Shetty, on the reality show Big Brother. However, in her last days of her short life, she gained respect from many for her determination and courage to fight cancer and also taking the responsibility of the lives of her young sons by raising s much money as possible. Prime Minister Gordon Brown praised Goody for her contribution in creating awareness about cervical cancer and the need for screening. The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams also praised Jade Goodie for her showing her brave side in the face of death.
