The tragic star, Jade Goody has been undergoing grueling treatment for her cervical cancer for months. Given only weeks to live, friends and family are talking part in a walk organized this Saturday. The objective of the walk is to create awareness amongst women the danger of cancer.

Jerri Lee, organizer and friend of Jade Goody said that the walk was for her and her family and her tough fight against cancer. The cervical cancer diagnosed last August has been reported to have spread to most parts of her body. As the time is running out, her husband Jack seeks to spend as much time with Jade as possible and will be participating in the walk only if Jade is well enough.

The walk will start at Femme Fatale, Jade’s beauty salon in Loughton and end at High Beach, Essex. The donations raised will find its way to a cancer charity, which will be chosen by Jade. Tens of thousands of pounds have been pouring in as charity despite the economic recession. Jade Goody has helped create awareness about cancer among millions of people worldwide.
