hiroshi nohara 420x0 Japanese Man Makes Mexican Airport Home

While the Mexicans have always been blamed on immigration related problems in the U.S., the Mexican officials are going through a strange predicament. Hiroshi Nohara, who came to Mexico City from Tokyo on a tourist visa refuses to leave the nation and has decided to make Benito Juarez International Airport his home. He lives off alms and free food given by curious onlookers.

He admits to not having a particular reason for his stay and has become a strange sort of celebrity in the mainly Roman Catholic nation. Ridiculous as it may sound, if only he decided to make use of the city’s great museums and art galleries, or if only he took time to appreciate the beauty of young Mexicans, he would have had a better time than being an object of interest for busy air passengers.

In my opinion, he could continue to stay in Mexico City, but only has to stay in a better and more interesting place where tequila is freely available and so would the comfort of company be. Right now, Mexican officials can’t do much but wait for his visa to expire in March.
