How often does one come across relief camps post-disasters and wish something better was done for the hapless victims? Disasters may be man-made or nature’s fury, but managing post-disaster situations, particularly shelters, is in human hands, and can be improved a great deal with some innovation besides spot thinking.

The design is inspired a great deal by the dwellings of nomadic tribes.

Its structure is covered with a web of double-thick felt that can create an outdoor space for storage and assembly. Kahuta is easily movable, can be transported along with other goods during disaster situations.
