The site Freakbits.com responsible for news on the popular video-sharing site BitTorrent files, released a list of his books most downloaded in 2009 (which, incidentally, is quite different from the books cited in the papers more success).

The Indian Kama Sutra is the top of the list of illegal downloads, dominated by books, sex manuals and self-help – but always left a little space for the popular Twilight saga.

The author of best-selling vampire series, Stephenie Meyer, believes that those buying or e-readers want to read a book on your computer, download e-books illegally not only because they are free, but also the ease and anonymity to the site the English newspaper The Independent.

Following is a list of 10 e-books most pirated 2009:

3. The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Amazing Sex
4. The Lost Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci
5. Solar House: A Guide for the Solar Designer
6. Before Pornography: Erotic Writing In Early Modern England
7. Twilight: Complete Series
8. How To Get Anyone To Say YES: The Science Of Influence
9. Nude Photography: The Art And The Craft
10. Fix It: How To Do All Those Little Repair Jobs Around The Home

The e-books listed were downloaded between 100 thousand and 250 thousand times. The FreakBits also reported that others have pirated present among the top 25 places were Dan Brown, Stephen King and JK Rowling, in part due to its own official market of e-books by publishers.

The delay of weeks in release of digital “Under the Dome” of Stephen King, in an attempt to increase the sales volume of the work meant that the owners of e-readers chose to illegally download the text.
Another example is the refusal of JK Rowling to release the Harry Potter series to the electronic market for fear of piracy. It was precisely this refusal which made the piracy the only way the fans get their books in digital format.
