The new Longchamp ads might seem to be offering a double dose of Kate Moss to all her fans out there. But hey, we just found out that the second Kate in these classy ads is not her but a Russian lookalike by the name of Sasha Pivovarova.

Thw two breathtakingly gorgeous women feature in the ad sitting or standing pretty in outfits from Longchamp’s spring ready-to-wear line. And let’s not the forget the matching hairdos and makeup. Trust us, you would want to look at the advert again and again to both enjoy the aesthetic similarity between the hot babes as well as the little differences.

All in all, a very cool strategy applied by the masterminds at Longchamp. We hear Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot shot the ad in LA. Kudos to them for coming up with such a unique concept. And double kudos to Kate for letting a lookalike (that too a super hot one) share public space alongside her. Buzz is that Longchamp will soon debut a video about the making of these ads on its website.
