Kate Moss has always been hounded by the feminists, the media and just about everybody else for well, being thin. What infuriates everyone is that she is unapologetic about it and says there is nothing that feels better than being thin. I could not agree with her more as the world is quite a hypocritical one. Not only thinness is valued but it is aesthetically pleasing.
To imagine that youngsters would go anorexic just by watching someone thin is like saying all the kids would copy the bright kid in the class and become extremely intelligent. Anorexia has many causes and not just children psychologically modelling celebrities. To confuse anorexia as a completely social disorder caused by media can be quite damaging. Most anorexic children have problems with their self esteem and an underlying dissatisfaction about body which need to be looked at.
To put blame squarely on certain celebrities and to suggest that being obese or overweight is ok can be dangerous. This thanksgiving, Kate Moss might actually be laughing her butt out while she gets all the admiring stares and at the same time people vilify her for the very slim body she has. It certainly is a controversial topic, but I would stand by Kate Moss. “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” is what Kate Moss said in an interview, and I agree.
Hence, this Thanksgiving DO NOT eat turkey and other foods which would make you fatter, and instead stick to vegan shakes.
