
Errant teenaged drivers may soon be taken to task thanks to a Key2SafeDriving which was designed by Xuesong Zhou and Dr. Wallace Curry. The gadget aims to stop using drivers from using cellphones while on the drive. What it does is, it emits signals whic in turn block calls and texting when the driver is in a ‘driving mode’. However, emergency calls could be received only when the driver pulls over.
If the driver makes the mistake of answering or making a call while driving, the gadget promptly sends messages to the parents so that the errant driver can be taken to task. The gadget is definitely useful and could help not only teenagers but also adults from using cellphones while driving. The habit is particularly lethal and many accidents take place because of this habit.
However, many may not like to be policed with the help of a gadget. Nevertheless, the issue here being safe driving, the gadget definitely could be used on repeating offenders in order to make sure they do not use the cellphone while driving.
