KillaCycle: A Battery Powered Bike

If you thought battery powered bikes were slow and that they wouldn’t accelerate fast enough, think again. The KillaCycle accelerates from 0 to 60mph in less than second and comes with about 1,200 special batteries. The KillaCycle has two motors and about 500bhp are generated. The top speed achievable is an astonishing 168mph which is usually unheard of in battery powered electric vehicles.

The KillaCycle is not only a green and emission free vehicle but it is also completely silent and adds no noise pollution to the environment. Meant to be a racing bike, charging for about four minutes is enough to take the bike through several laps. The makers of the bike are now working on a bike that would reach 1,000bhp and this bike is aimed at trouncing even the fastest drag bikes ever manufactured.

Funnily, the manufacturers built the bike because they couldn’t afford to buy one on their own. I would love to have a KillaCycle of my own and in my opinion this would function well as an urban transport vehicle too, for it is noise and emission free, which is what we all want in our cities.
