It’s good know that being green is becoming a habit with most of us today. So much so that we are willing to go the extra mile to make our lives greener than they used to be. On the same line, Lestang Erwan and Mikael Bitton want to help us make the heart of our home more inviting (yes, you guessed right, we are talking about the kitchen) but the green green way.
The futuristic kitchen was conceptualized with the intention of saving water and energy. Referred to as an eco kitchen island, this unit helps recycle 60% of the water and heat used while cooking. And that does not mean it is drab and boring. In fact, the kitchen is very stylish, made in corian. It flaunts a valve electronic sensing infrared controllable via a screen tat can even restrict the flow of water.
The technical aspect is very sound for there is also a built-in system to use the heat from the refrigerator compressor to heat water. Then again, the half moon crescent shape of the kitchen was decided upon because it looks like a drop of water. No wonder the it is called the ‘Kitchen Drop of O’.
