There have been some developments in the field of Lasik Eye Surgery but none too different from what we know already. However, Dr. Manche at Stanford Eye Laser Center revealed how easy and yet how complicated the laser surgery really is.
While eminent surgeons like him charge as much as $6,000 to correct myopia, you could get it done for a cheaper price in countries like Thailand and Turkey. The laser corrects the vision in one of the less invasive ways and 95% of the people are said to be living without having to wear contact lens or glasses.
If you decide to take that huge step to get rid of your contact lenses and your glasses, you might have to do your homework. I have a myopic and astigmatic sight myself, and I have long considered the benefits of laser eye treatments. It would be amazing to live without having to wash your contacts or feel “tired” when you have worn it for too long.
However one of my friends who has got it done complains of redness in the eyes, and also hypersensitivity to dust and light, which is something that you would not want. Thus, you might want to weigh your options before getting a Lasik Treatment done. Do read the extensive article by Lisa Katayama on Boing Boing, who considered laser surgery to correct her vision as well.

When you see a good price for lasik surgery be sure to check out the doctor thoroughly as well as find out from other patients whether they’re happy with the laser eye surgery. Although in most cases a cheaper doctor means less experience, there are times when you’ll find discounted deals from a well qualified doctor’s office or surgery. Y’all so want to look into employee discounts, club member discounts, and other discounts the laser surgery office offers.
