Light Emitting Diode (LED) reminds us of perfect and attractive mood lighting. After dethroning the CFL’s from the energy industry, they are now heading towards the Botox business. According to a new German research, people exposed to LED lights for several weeks had noticed reduction in their skin wrinkles as though they have taken a pricey Botox treatment.
During the study, researchers found out that the lights go through the skin and alter the sub-surface tissue by varying the molecular structure of the layer of water on the protein elastin which is responsible for the elastic property of skin. They thus remove moisture and restore its elasticity.
The LED lights are safer and cheaper compared to the botulinum toxin injections that are conventionally used for the purpose. This research has thus opened a new arena for the energy efficient lighting to be applied for making people more young and gorgeous.
