LG Introduces ‘The eXpo’ With Fingerprint Reader & Projector

South Korean electronics behemoth, LG Electronics has announced the launch of an all new state of the art smart phone, the eXpo that revolutionize the world of communication and mobile security. Along being a real killer looking mobile device, the eXpo also consists of an in built pico projector with really impressive picture quality, at least in the case of small mobile device that, actually works as a projector too. As of now, the LG eXpo is available via online orders and is priced at $199 which is inclusive of a $100 mail-in rebate. User will have to enter into a two year contract with AT&T at $69.99 a month.

The eXpo is the first of its kind in the United States to have 1Ghz processor powering up the device. This amount of processing power would mean that the eXpo will be able to perform at lightning speeds and considering the fact that, the device has to provide support for a projector and a fingerprint reader would make it absolutely essential for it to have such high processing capabilities.

The all new LG eXpo smart phone has taken the concept and protocols of mobile device security to all new levels with the introduction of a fingerprint reader in the new device, that will replace the pin codes and security codes currently required to secure the phones. eXpo is based entirely on the Windows 6.5 mobile operating system and is available across the United States via AT&T. Also, the new smart phones will be integrated into AT&T’s newly formed HSPA 7.2 Mbps mobile broadband technology.

According to Michael Woodward (VP, AT&T Mobility),

“LG eXpo adds to our growing portfolio of smartphones that operate on the latest upgrade to our 3G network and offer customers a great choice. As we move to HSPA 7.2 technology, it is crucial to provide our customers innovative and future-proof smartphones.”

Among other vital smart phone features, the eXpo offers a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, a slide out full QWERTY keyboard, along with a 5 mega pixel camera.
