People really have a wacky way of doing things and nothing is wackier than the efforts of some people to combat global warming and create awareness. There are people who suggest that one must use mirrors in space to reflect sunlight, others want to spray salt water in air and now someone wants to help Polar Bears who could drown with melting of the ice caps at poles by designing lifejackets for them. That’s right, custom crafted lifejackets for Polar Bears to help them stay afloat.
A Swedish design group called ADDI thinks it’s about time people did something about the distances, proposing a polar bear lifejacket. The proposal is supposedly though not a real one and is just an effort to create awareness and there is no arguing that this goofiness really catches attention. I guess in that unique way, these people have indeed caught attention. But really, the whole idea is so beyond hilarious that it pretty much borders on the line of insanity. Next, we can design cold packs to keep them cool with rising global temperatures!
