OK, let’s begin by talking about innovations in the Grandfather’s Clock of yore that we know as simple circular analog clock today. So, it has been digitalized and even given some cool and not-so-cool shapes and design. Some folks even gave spunky colors to the clock in the name of change. Everyone thought, this was it. This is the evolution of wall clock technology. But not Aleksy Belyalov.
The designer saw a more functional aspect to the mundane wall clock than anybody else has so far. He has designed a Long Wall Clock that works on such settings that one look from far can give an idea about the time of the day. Hmmm, confused?
Let us explain. The Long Wall Clock consists of a combination of two back and white components which gradually moves as the minutes tick by. So, when it is morning, you can see only white and as the day progresses the black part starts to emerge alongside white. By the time it is night, all you can see is black. Isn’t that cool! And such an aesthetic delight too. On a closer look, you can also see the clock readings.
