The wedding day is an important day, especially for the bride. Choosing the perfect wedding gown or having one tailor made is every bride’s dream. This bride got more than just a perfect gown, she even got a world record.
A Bucharest bride added a 1,579 metre long train to her wedding gown making it the longest wedding gown ever worn. The gown may perhaps also be the most expensive because apart from having the record-holding train, its train is also studded with 7,000 Swarovski crystals. Talk about the perfect wedding gown! The train took designers 70 days to make and is worth 3,500 pounds. The wedding dress designed by Romanian Loana Comanescu wasn’t made for an actual bride but was featured at the E-Marriage Fest wedding fair at Bucharest on April 1st.
The never-ending wedding gown which now has the prestige of a Guinness World Record will be auctioned off at the fest and may just be worn by some lucky bride. Anybody planning on getting married any time soon?
