Make Up: An All New Beauty application For Apple iPhone

Since the launch of perhaps the most famous and sought after gadget in the world, Apple iPhone, there has been a torrent of applications developed and released for the iPhone and cover juts about everything, from news, games, stock, healthcare and even beauty care. Speaking of beauty care, there has been addition to this category, with the launch of another similar application for iPhone, called “Make Up”.

The Make Up can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and it uses facial recognition technology to create a perfect make up routine for the user, who just has to upload an image of theirs and then can give the necessary virtual beauty treatment to their avatars to judge what is the best routine for them.

The creators of of the Make Up application, Modiface, have previously created a host of similar applications for the Apple iPhone and the iPod Touch series and they are banking upon partnerships with other companies in an effort to tap into vast and increasingly booming American beauty care market. Make Up application for the iPhone is available for $0.99 and can be directly downloaded via the Apple Apps Store.

According to Sunil Verma (Founder, Mobelix),

“Beauty-related apps are a high growth market. “Seven to 10 million iPhone or iTouch users have already downloaded a beauty-related app or indicated they are very interested in doing so. And we’re just starting to see big brands get involved, which will be huge. We’re seeing a lot of single professionals and mothers downloading these apps.”
