Management of Risks

AJA offers certification mainly in the management systems under the ISO standards. The company does not perform product conformity to a great extent. This is because the organization does not have the available laboratories, specific testing capability, and technical skills.

Quality Management System or ISO 1901, 2000 tops the list. Focus on the environment since 2005 has brought about the rise in ISO 1400. Since the latter part of 2005, some companies have opted for the cost-saving Integrated Management System that simultaneously involves two or three standards.

AJA believes that companies would do well to consider this integrated management system since management of risks is the common theme among the various ISO standards. There are the management of quality which is a risk to the customer, the management of environmental risk which is a risk of damaging the environment, and the management of occupational and safety risk, which is the management of employees’ risk.

The certificate becomes a tool to make the system more efficient. Some companies do not necessarily make more money, but get better and adopt more consistent approaches.

ISO Guide 62 gives the general and uniform approach for certification. The client signifies the standard he wants. The certification body gathers the information from the client such as existing processes, size of company, and number of personnel.
