Markets Left Bruised, May Need Time to Recover

The final closing of international markets for the year 2008 was slightly positive and the markets raised a notch above the dismal statistics we have been seeing lately. The year 2008 was one of the worst years for international market and 2009 may be quite a tough deal too.

Most governments and banks have announced stimulus packages and that might have caused the markets to increase and show signs of improvement. Though most analysts believe 2009 will be a better year financially, Kiddoo believes it won’t be all that great and expecting magic to happen right in 2009 would be nothing short of foolishness. Much of the damage and losses faced by individuals and companies need a lot of time to recuperate.

Markets in Tokyo, Sydney and Seoul looked optimistic and the share value increased considerably. Only the Asia and Pacific region saw an improvement in the market while Europe and North America are still reeling under the effects of recession. The Pound continued to plummet and is now almost as valuable as the Euro. It would take sometime for markets to regain strength and confidence.
